Suzanne Boehlefeld is a Northeast Ohio picture-book author who has loved writing and storytelling since childhood. A mother of two sons, she draws inspiration from the real-life experiences, challenges, humor, and triumphs that shaped their family.

After retiring, Suzanne returned to her love of storytelling, transforming family experiences into heartfelt stories filled with courage, empathy, humor, and connection. Raising two children who experienced the world in very different ways deepened her understanding of the everyday challenges children can face and strengthened her belief in the power of stories to help children better understand themselves—and one another.

Suzanne’s stories celebrate the small triumphs of childhood and encourage young readers to believe in themselves, embrace new experiences, and discover that Nothing’s Impossible. Her debut picture book, My Friend Seymour, is the first in her Nothing’s Impossible series, inspired by real-life family experiences.

A member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), Suzanne enjoys connecting with young readers, families, and educators through author visits, interactive readings, literacy programs, and community outreach. Her work reflects a simple mission: Helping Children Grow—One Story at a Time.
