Join me at the second annual Connecting for Kids Embrace the Pace 5K community celebration on August 22 at Independence Liberty Playground.

The Connecting for Kids (CFK) Embrace the Pace is an inclusive, accessible community event featuring a chip-timed 5K, a 1-Mile Run/Walk/Roll, and Kids' Races. It takes place on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at the Independence Liberty Playground (6363 Selig Blvd, Independence, OH).

The inclusive race welcomes participants of all ages and abilities, including children who use mobility aids like wheelchairs, walkers, and gait trainers.
